School Overview

The School of Natural Sciences aims to develop specialized professionals with the practical skills needed in their fields, grounded in basic sciences, biomedical engineering, and biotechnology. The Food and Nutrition major addresses the growing interest in diet and health, driven by the aging population and the information age. With increasing demand for disease prevention, food industry innovation, and services in the restaurant sector, the major aims to train professionals with practical expertise in food and nutrition to meet these evolving needs. Upon completion, students will be prepared to obtain professional certifications such as nutritionist, hygienist, food technician, and chef through national exams. Graduates will be well-equipped to pursue careers in various specialized fields, with promising opportunities for growth.
